I'm sure he is, but I'm loosing faith that he is going to come back at some time and start getting this site off the ground. I appreciate the staff's efforts but having been staff on an abandoned forum (talkfreelance.com) myself I know that can only do so much. I've been here myself, Salathe and I were basically alone in running talkfreelance until it was bought within an inch of crashing down. To this day I think we did a great job, but we could only do so much since it was not our site. All that kept Sal and I going was knowing that the site was going to be sold and the new owner would take initiative. What is the hopeful future for talkPHP (that was not rhetorical, I'm actually asking)?

Don't talk to me as if I don't know know anything about hosting by telling me how things work in the "real world." I've had better uptime on server I've paid $3 a month for. This site routinely goes down for hours, often for days (a week is the most I remember). Whoever we are hosted on clearly does not have a grip on uptime and we should switch.
ps. Use MS word for your posts, whatever you type your messages in causes unnecessary line breaks.
