I'm just kidding around, but honestly can we have a forum RSS feed turned on? According to this it's already built in to vBulletin, no installation of a mod necessary. I've got room for one more in my top toolbar, and TalkPHP is begging to go there.

We did use to have one ... somewhere! I seem to have misplaced the link, I'll see if i can find it.

Ah, I should've checked after reading that article. I was being lazy and looking for a direct link. :D

Now a days, everybody should have an RSS feed. Not because I say so, but because I BELIEVE it to be so.

Edit: Hmm, vBulletin's implementation doesn't update very regularily. *hmph*

The default is to only show new threads, which here at TalkPHP doesn't occur very often at all. You can restrict the feed to only certain forums (including multiple) and/or make it show posts rather then threads.

We've had feeds available here since September 2007. :-)

When you say 'you can', do you mean we can, or you can? I can't seem to find any settings in our profile options, and I would love it if the feed was posts rather than threads.

Threads will be returned in descending order based on the date of their creation. Description information will be returned from the first post of the thread.

If &lastpost=1 is added to the feed URL, threads will be returned in descending order based on the date of the last post of the thread. Description information will be returned from the last post of the thread.
