Default tphp framework

I think I've read it before but I think A TalkPHP Framework would be very nice..just an idea to throw around.

Possibly just a barebone framework even ? Simple example of a properly laid out MVC framework or something along those lines ? o_O

The big question is... What type of framework are we talking about here? A full-blown strict MVC framework like CakePHP or a modular use-at-will component framework like Zend Framework or Pear?

To be honest? I think it would be pointless, theres plenty of frameworks and a framework takes time to create, if you ever decided to start on it, I'm pretty sure people would forget about it while its in development and I doubt many people would use it.

I agree with Nor - but is the the projects ultimate task to be popular and used - or this could be a community project.

For example:
There is: CodeIgniter - Kohana, Zend Framework, CakePHP, Symfony, Konstrukt, PradoPHP..
Maybe this would be an overkill - but it would be a great community project.
We'll see how many people hang on it :)

It would take three years to build something similar to CakePHP or zend framework.

True :D
Maybe as feature rich as Zend Framework.

Seems there are more cons than pros :)

If we want to why not? It would be more of a fun thing/learning experience than a project.

Give it it's own forum, with a SOTW-like code base. Meaning one week we will have a competition to see who comes up with the best way to do X with the framework, and just keep adding. Let beginners do the simpler stuff, and have advanced people make sure the beginners are doing it right, and work on the advanced stuff.
