Would it be okay?
Would it be okay if I post (once I've finished it) a largish AJAX + JQuery article / tutorial?
I only ask permission because I'm hardly a genius at coding like most of the people around here :)(Although everything will be correct) Gareth. |
I see no reason why not - the more articles the better! (plus I just started looking at JQuery yesterday so would love a tutorial on it :-D)
Once you publish an article it gets put in a queue to be approved by the TalkPHP staff so I'm sure they'll let you know if they spot any problems :-) Alan |
It'd be very much appreciated, Gareth :-) !
|
Gareth> I actually was working on one that uses jQuery, but please do. If you wouldn't mind, please send me a PM with a general outline of what you plan to include so I can alter my tutorial to cover some other aspect. Thanks!

Article clashes seem to be becoming more and more common now as more of us write articles :-(
I vote that the current articles system is switched for a wiki of some sort. That way we could all see what articles are in progress, add contributions, and well, wouldn't have to use the god-awful vBArticles editor that doesn't even support images :-D If it does happen, I'll even offer to convert the current articles to the wiki format :-) Alan |
Well, I've just posted my first Article! Hopefully it will be accepted and you can all read it :)
EDIT: Just updated the layout a bit so it has to be accepted again! |
If someone could please accept it again that would be great :)

Hi Gareth, there are a few things that I would like to see done before the article is pushed live again (if any of the other staff members make it live before the changes happen, it's no big deal). Would you mind a PM with a list of things?
|
Thanks for your PM Salathe; I updated the article which is hopefully better.
