Default All roads lead to the forum?

The "TalkPHP" logo, "Home", "Forum" all link to TalkPHP - Powered by vBulletin

How do you get back to the index? I only ask since there is some useful information on the front page but you can only get to it by manually typing in the address.

The "Home" link is supposed to link back to the home page. I shall get Karl to correct it ASAP !

Oh, the footer. Why didn't I think of that. LOL

Maybe the logo should go "Home" as well.

Just a thought,

Yeah I brought this up in the feedback thread - although I always tend to visit the homepage first before arriving in the forums.

It used to do, but people said they wanted it to return them to the forum if they're in the forums. I think the way it is now satisfies the older members as they were around before we added the new home page, however, it no doubt confuses the new members.

My ears are open for a good solution to this :)

If there are both 'home' and 'forums' links surely 'home' should link to the homepage and 'forums' to the forums? At the end of the day the forums are not the 'home' of the site and therefore should not be the URL for that link. I think if people want to return to the forums clicking 'forums' is an easy enough change away from clicking 'home'.

Oh I see what you mean, "Home" takes you to the forum. That's defo a bug, it must have been introduced over the past few weeks. I'll sort that right now.

** Edit **

Turns out it's another of vbSEO's fine features </sarcasm>. If anyone has any idea how I can fix it, I'd greatly appreciate hearing it.

Can't we just hard-code it in?

Lol, just lol. Is it really THAT obstrusive!?!

It probably is looking for the page you want to be featured most, pages that get the most internal links in turn generally rank better in the serps. So i'd imagine they have a "forums home" link, try making that one the homepage root and then adding the /forums.php hard-coded?
