talk php wiki
I was wondering if you could install media wiki somewhere on the site then we can all add the php functions and add functions/classes that we have written and people can go there for help or stuff first... just a thought :)

I'm not sure it's a good idea to mix the official PHP documentation with user-contributed code, but it really would be nice to have both ideas implemented separately. |
I do like the idea actually. Certainly something to think about. We do have quite a bit planned though for TalkPHP.

I think it would be a great idea, would allow us to contribute as well as document our own code that does certain functions etc.
Although would be good if the content was kept to just TalkPHP users and not visable by just everyone after a simple code grab. |
This suggestion and the array of ideas we have has actually set me off on a new way of thinking. Thinking we should turn it into a custom built community and really make it happen!
|
Just how custom built are we talking here wildhoney? If you are talking custom built forum, pm me, I may be interested in helping.

I can set up a wiki for this site maybe... only if you want me to tho...
