I am really in fix to searh easiest way to take manual backup of mysql data. I am new to developing and now my client wants something diff. from me. I've mentioned below his requirement

a.1. Database backup ZIP goes to give email id 2 times when cron run specified

b.Manually download backup zip
c.Copy to specified FTP account

so, these are my main problems can anyone help me?

Help will be appreciable.

a. Why would a backup be sent to the email recipient twice? That makes no sense, to me.

b. Is the backup zip already stored somewhere and you just want to be able to download that via a web interface?

c. Is the backup zip already stored somewhere and you just want to be able to copy to an FTP account via a web interface?
