How Can read and search a word from pdf file

how can find a word from pdf file.
can this possible through simple file handling.
without PDFlib package. beacuse my server doesnot support pdflib.
How can i install pdflib in wamp server.

My main problem is i want search word form pdf file.
Have any idea.

I think it can be done with Lucene from Zend Framework. You dont have to use the MVC framework you can just use the library.
