Default Developing PHP extensions on Windows with VC++ - problems an article posted here

Hi all,
I had to create a PHP extension and I read this good article:
http://www.talkphp.com/vbarticles.ph...php-extensions
Everything worked fine if I keep "Debug" as "Active solution configuration" in "Build->Configuration manager"....but in this way I can only use the extension created on the machine I compiled it.
If I choose "Release" instead of "Debug" I get a fatal error:
dllmain.obj : fatal error LNK1179: invalid or corrupt file: duplicate COMDAT '_putwchar'
Can you help me?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Eugenio

I would suggest to logon IRC, irc.freenode.org and join #php-dev-win which is the official channel for PHP on Windows, people like "Pierre" should easily be able to give you an answer. I would have too, but I don't have a build env. setup here at the moment :(

Is there any other methods to contact those guys without using IRC?

You can always use the mailing lists, internals-win (see http://www.php.net/mailinglists)

You could try Mibbit if you don't have an IRC client.
