Query for ID
 

I am creating a report site, but need to display the report id #. I figured the best way the generate the report id would be to query the DB to get the highest # then add 1 to that, but I don't know how to go about that. Can someone please help me with this issue?

Not sure I understand your problem, I'm assuming that the report in question has not yet been inserted into the database. If this is the case would it not be best to do that first before displaying to the user?
