unzip??
 

How can i unzip a .zip file using php i tried

"http://au2.php.net/manual/en/function.ziparchive-extractto.php"

but it does not work. what i want to do is have a zip file with say wow.php in it i want to to unzip that file and overwrite the wow.php that is on the server now.

Are there any errors? have you got the zip extension loaded with your php?
Check your phpinfo().

If not then you will have to recompile php with the '--enable-zip' flag or edit your php.ini to enable the extension in windows.
