TalkPHP C/C++ Extension for PHP
Should we attempt a custom extension for PHP? I know C++, and C is pretty much in my criteria.
|
What would we do that is of any use?

Cure cancer?

I actually made my own PHP extension a few weeks ago, All it did was to add a function that returned a string, from not being a big C programmer that was a big step.
But if you get a good place where it might be useful, then I wouldn't mind helping out abit and then it could get released on PECL. =) |
I know the basics from C++, used some WIN32, Winsock, that kind of stuff. Don't know if i can help but i would like to try though :)

I think a brainstorm of what actually to do would be first priority :)
I unfortunately don't know any C or C++, so count me out :( But i got a really good idea.. An extended Math extension, where you can solve equations and stuff :) |
