Scaffolding class?

So i am thinking of making a scaffolding class, but I am not sure of the PROs and CONs of scaffolding ? Any suggestions on how to go about doing it.

Basically I need to build a bunch of pages for input for like news, blogging, etc but I do not see the purpose of creating one by one. So I figured building a scaffolding class would be more efficient idea. Am I right ? Is there something I am missing?

If you're thinking of using the pages generated by the scaffolding class for a production site, drop it. Scaffolding is meant for developing, so you easily can fill out some rows in a database for example. Anyways, to do that you'd probably have to have a framework, makes it a lot easier at least.
