You might wonder why I posted it here. Well, I am kinda wondering the same thing. A customer wants a system built in to a bulletin board (like phpBB, vBulletin) that searched for pre-defined (in an admin of some sorts) words and then links them to a page, also defined in the admin. For short, when I make a topic like this;

You'll get;
Maybe even with a little textbaloon like Kontera(.com) has.

Now the question is, does this plugin/extention exists or do we seriously need to make it from scratch. There MUST be a user that uses this feature as well, somewhere.

Not a whole lot of third-party hack/mod stuff exists for phpBB3 yet. For phpBB2, I would suggest checking through phpBBHacks.com - phpBB hacks, mods, templates, styles, downloads, support and much more! or phpBB's mod db, might or might not find what you're looking for.
