Event Scheduler... Maybe?

Hey Guys :-)

I have a question. If I want to run a MySQL query every 24 hours, should I use Event Scheduler. I would like to stay away from cron jobs, as I have no clue about them. Though to be fair, I've just now heard of Event Scheduler.

If you have any examples or explanations of either, it would be very helpful. :-D

Thanks ^^

I have used cron jobs...with my host you just select the file you wish to run with the script and select the repeated times like if you want it every hour or every 24 hours and so on

cron jobs is really easy to learn.
php myPHPfile.php

and set the time to every 24 hours.

I believe even DirectAdmin and Plesk (and Enzym) offer a great deal of support for this, but I have yet found time to figure it out.

Thanks @ Dale.
