uh yep, its a different compiler, and theres yet any tutorials on it -.-...for php extensions and setting up your work space..

Not that I'm aware off, but if I get the time next week I'll install DevCPP and extend my tutorial to work with it.

Also, it's worth mentioning that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express is a completely free download so you could use that to follow my article if you don't mind downloading ~1gb of files

Edit: Are you using DevCPP on Windows or Linux?

Isn't Code::Blocks more accessible and complete than Dev-C++? That was my impression after trying both of them. It also has mingw compiler included...

I like Code::Blocks, used it for a Linux project a short while ago. It is also being activly developed where as DevCPP development stopped back in 2006 if I remember correctly.
