Free Webs Cloan?
Hi talk PHP. I was planning on starting a website that would allow users to create their own website as a sub domain (similar to freewebs). I used to program with PHP a lot, but I started working with computer hardware rather than programming, so I'm pretty rusty, and I see php 5 has come out now. I was wondering what the safest way to allow users to create their mini-websites would be. what are some of the possible hazards I should be planning ahead for?

Copyright protection would be your biggest problem, I guess.

I assume you aren't going to allow users to upload PHP files. Just HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Images, ect... right? Making sure user uploaded data is safe would be my main concern.

I guess it would be nearly impossible to allow users to use dynamic codes such as PHP? Or would there we a way I could allow it, but block and hazards? like trying to access files out of their sub domain. Would javascript be a concern?
