Help Why ? - because of version ?

so yeah i was playing around on my localhost..

i had like this

PHP Code:
if ($_SESSION["logged"] != true

header("location: login.php");
which as you can see is missing the brackets..
so the funny thing was it worked on localhost but on
web host like real server :P it did not work
no errors where given just would not work..

so my question is:

was it because of
version difference or what :S?

PS: i just like to learn about small things ;)

-Thank you.

You don't need brackets on an if statement. They are optional. You only need them if you want more then 1 line within the if statement. I believe the error is on the header redirect. I have noticed some funky things with it before but never been able to pinpoint it exactly.
