Default how to get the rows affected(not number of rows)

as i had look up in the php manual mysql_num_rows return the number of affected rows by the previous mysql query but how do i get the information from that row...

thanx in advance you help is really appriciatted

The information? You mean the data from the Database? In that case look at mysql_fetch_* functions (e.g. mysql_fetch_object, mysql_fetch_assoc, mysql_fetch_array)
