Default Help me practice

I want to improve my knowledge in PHP. The only way to do that is to practice! I was wondering if someone could give me advice on what to do? I can set up a database (a small one) and connect to it. I have also just learned to search though a database for a specific field and display the results (1 search at a time). However, I couldn't write this from memory.

I can also validate forms and pass information through cookies. Could anyone suggest a little project exercise for me to do?

Thanks,
Steven

There are thousands of Tutorials for what you want to do.
I suggest doing them and then replacing what you want and if you see any errors, find the best way to replace that!
Here:
PHP Coding Tutorials - Search for PHP Coding Tutorials on Pixel2Life
'Best' place for tutorials for PHP
Another:
PHP Tutorials TutorialCode.com
Yet another great place!

I'd suggest taking knowledge from these tutorials, and make up something you want to make which you don't know how to do!

A simple CMS even! which wouldn't be all that far away from a guest book actually.
