Default Windows mail server

I had spent good 2 hours on setting up windows mail server without any luck. I need help.

I cannot configure mail server. That's the problem. I don't know how-to.

Between, I want to configure it on Windows.

What mail server are we talking about here? Is it one you have brought / downloaded or one built into Windows? If the latter, what version of Windows are you running?

Also, do you mean that you are trying to setup the mail server options in php.ini so that your scripts can send mail? Or are you actually trying to install a mail server on your Windows machine?

Just go with QK SMTP Server. Install it, run it and you're done. No need to configure stuff.

After a bit more of googling, the only way I found to fix this was to use my ISP's SMTP Server. Well, it worked and I am happy.
