I have another suggestion, two actually.

The first one is maybe adding the link tree to that top glass/plastic bar on the top, under that navigation. That would save a little space in the main content area, and also make use of that bar. If you do decide to put it up there, I would not keep it at 100% black, but a lighter gray.

My second suggestion is more of a request. Is it possible to put the smilies on the quick reply? Since its WYSIWYG, If you type the shortcuts in, you can't see them, and they don't work.
