They are not cheap, but I have two VPSs with LiquidWeb and they are amazing. The servers perform great and give everything they advertise. I recently had to run some enormous SQL processes that took hours and it did it great (I had to associate a 830,000 row table of strings to a 7,000 row table of strings).
