Ha! Interesting solution, but the brighter monitor is really great for contrast, colors, etc.

Just looked up specs:

monitor 1:
brightness: 450 cd/m2
contrast: 1000 to 1

monitor 2:
brightness: 250 cd/m2
contrast: 450 to 1
