TalkPHP - View Single Post

If you go to the main page, www.facebook.com and look on the bottom between the words "Terms" and "Find Friends" there's a small little gray square box.

If you right click it, and view the image, you get a blank page but the URL says this:

http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/images/spacer.gif?8:11

What in the heck does that mean? And why does it have ?8:11 in the URL?

Thoughts anyone? I'd like to have that little square box too, I could probably just use that link, but I'd like to know the logic behind it?
