Yeah, I might check it out. I love the programs I already use, so probably wouldn't switch.
I use the same programs all the time. EditPad for writing code. TrayColor for getting the exact color from an image file so I can use it in my design. Plus, I use SLUGS for color matching as well.
I have a few stock photography sites I get images from and those usually inspire my theme design. Then, once I get a basic idea of how I want to lay it out, I start adding the colors.
Then, I check everything to make sure the color contrast ratios between background and foreground pass WAI-AAA. If all goes well, it ends up online. If it kicks and screams -- well ... I just edit it some more until it behaves.
