I just came across this post, so hopefully this has been resolved already. If not, the link that Salathe posted (see below) has the information you need. You will also need to run config 2.0 as the article states.

On another note, we don't encourage you to parse all of your .html pages as .php, because that means php has to load for every .html page request. It's much faster for .html pages to simply be processed by apache.
