Thanks
Nor,
Thanks for the screen shot, I haven't gotten around to making it IE friendly yet. If anyone would like to contribute to making the CSS cross-browser, it could speed things up a bit.
In case anyone hasn't seen the code response feature yet, you might want to check it out. You can can respond to someone's snipplet with a snipplet (sort of like a video response on YouTube). This snipplet can be an alteration, improvement, fix, conversion to another language or whatever you want. Over time, this will produce some interesting patterns, or maybe pieces of "super code" that can handle anything you want. This feature will have a lot more coming soon though, I have some more ideas for it.
What I want to do with Snipply for programming, is what Last.fm did for music. To make the data usable every way possible and eventually have a huge resource for developers to find clean, usable code all in one place.
Thanks for all your responses so far, I really need some critical feedback so I can start modeling the site after what everyone wants, and not just what I come up with out of my head. - Here are a few things to expect soon from Snipply:
- Minor Redesign
- Alternate syntax highlighting themes
- Favorites
- Search for code in a:
Function call
Class class
Function definition
Class definition
Variable name
- Support for multi-page code snippets
- Download snipplet as file
- Gold account (more on this later)
